Playgroups & toddler activities in CLAPHAM (SW4)?

Info please! We're hopefully moving to Abbeville Rd early in the new year and I know some playgroups have waiting lists so thought it worth investigating now. Interested in anything I can do with 2-year-old really. (We also have a baby who'll be 4 or 5 months when we move so am looking for stuff that doesn't involve much of a journey.)

Looking forward to meeting some of you Clapham mums in the new year too

Many thanks - I did find some info via Cheeky Monkeys & on the web, but was wondering if anyone had any recommendations / experience of any particular groups / places?

Sorry Franch but I've only been to PitterPatter on Weir Rd - 10am Weds at St Stephens
It's for babies pre crawling/walking

I've heard from friends that the Wandsworth One o clock clubs are better than the Lambeth ones - in terms of facilities etc

Thanks blonde

You could have a look at mothershare but I don't think there is that much info on your exact area.

The best place to find out about mother and toddler groups is Lambeth Children's Information Services - they should be able to send you a list of all the groups in the area. You can then work out which are closest to you.

There is a great kids playground on Clapham Common, not too far away. Also, just between the pond and the cafe is an enclosed grassy play area. This is a great place to let them run around without worrying about them disappearing.

Good luck!
