Help! Please help me sort out a postman costume for Thursday!

I need to cobble together a costume for DS(6) for school on Thursday. The brief from the school is A simple costume is all that is needed. Black trousers and shoes maybe a hi-viz jacket or blue shirt and baseball cap.

I'm struggling to see how this will look like a postman? He has black trousers/shoes but none of the rest. Any great ideas? Thanks.

How about a blue polo shirt from ASDA with shorts and a hi-vis jacket (cheap in Wilkos) and a bag with some letters in, preferably over-shoulder or satchel style?

Thanks. I picked up a high vis jacket in Ikea today so part way there.
