Welcome to the South LTH.

DH says... 'Blue Yonder is the broadband service from Telewest who are a cable company. The problem you have is that your place in Seaford probably can't get cable. If your property can get standard broadband then you can use any non-cable broadband supplier. We use NDO and I can thoroughly recomend them (see www.ndo.com). If you know your new phone number just enter it in the box provided and see what happens.'

Hope that helps!

Thanks Gem.
I've asked the estate agent to find out if the house has a BT line.

Rather alarmingly I thing I'm going to have to wait until we've actually moved to sort it out which obviously means no internet access for however long it takes.

Agghhhhhhhh

I am in Brighton and use virgin Really good and have just upgraded the speed of my broadband for free Seaford is lovely by the way Have you found a house there?

spidermama · 05/11/2005 15:39

Mine's AOL. I quite like it but the software's a bit cumbersome and once it's installed you never get rid of it iyswim.

spidermama · 05/11/2005 15:40

I don't know where you're moving from, but Seaford is really nice.
I'm in Brighton too btw.

Cam · 05/11/2005 16:27

Hi LTH another southcoaster here. The only thing I know about about Seaford (apart from the old part's quite pretty when you drive through it) is that it was (is?) where that man lived (lives?) who ran the dating agency in that series on TV.

Anyone remember it? He was a short ugly man?

noddyholder · 05/11/2005 16:29

Oh God Cam I watched that.Do you mean the little man in a sort of portakabin type office?First reality type thing i saw i think

LadyTophamHatt · 05/11/2005 16:34

God, yes I remember that programme. YUK he was cringworthy(is that real word??) wasn't he?

Yes, we've found an house and signed contracts the other day. Provision move date is 29th Nov.
I can't wait.

It has some lovely houses I was showing dp the other day We sometimes drive there and sit by the sea there are some lovely views

LadyTophamHatt · 05/11/2005 16:43

We were in Seaford yesterday so that the Ds's could visit the new school. We went to the beach after visiting.
Blimey my 3 DS's were in digger heaven!
They are doing the sea defences again and there was about 6 HUGE dumper trucks being filled by MASSIVE diggers. The trucks drove along the beach, tipped it all out where a waiting bulldozers (which was also reather on the large side) was spreading it along the beach.

Even I was enjoyinng the show.
