I know we've done this before...but how horrible are these slogans on boys tops?!

In Asda today, just having a mooch about and looking at tops for my ds who's 4. I was spoiled for choice..

'I'm with STUPID' (complete with large pointing finger)

'Forget presents...Give me money!'

OR..

'I've been good all year, so it'd better be worth it!' (emphasised with huge devil looking skull and crooked halo)

I have said on here before that I usually quite like Asda, but I can almost feel a Victor Meldrew style letter of protest boiling up in me for that little offering. He's 4. A sweet gentle little boy, just a baby still. I know I don't have to buy it and I suppose it's someones idea of 'funnnee', but it makes me feel very sad.

The rest of the boys clothes were nothing special either - the usual array of sludgy colours. Up to about 18mths - all very nice and acceptable, then they seem to think little boys turn into mini yobs or old men.

i buy white baby grows and dye then kind of off white

agree though, who in their right mind would put little kids in racey t-shirts? it's just not right is it?

Totally agree with this thread, I hate babies and children in slogan t shirts. I tend to buy H&M and la redoute for cheerful clothes that still look like their for kids NOT mini adults. I hate seeing little girls in high heels too.Let them be children for a bit longer.

I'm with you roo - hate seeing little girls all dressed up like teenagers - thank god I've got boys.

My Ds, who's 8, develops eyes the size of dinner plates when he sees FCUK on a t shirt. Even though he knows it's not the same, he still comes over a bit Mary Whitehouse.

Regarding kids' t-shirts, I hate seeing Next written on them. You wouldn't buy a t-shirt with Boots The Chemist across it, would you?
