Book for a 3 yr old getting glasses.....?

Hi

I've posted this in the book club section but thought I would try my luck in this section too.

A friend of mine has just found out that her DD (3.5) needs glasses, and she is worried about it (although I don't think her DD will have a problem!).

I wondered if any MNers could recommend a good book aimed at three year olds about getting glasses, to put her mind at rest a little? I have seen a few on Amazon but wasn't sure which one would be best.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks

LBL

I haven't seen any specifically aimed at this, but we have a book called 'bumpasaurus' which is about a baby dinosaur who needs glasses. Not sure who its by - will search for you.

When exh has avry young he needed glasses and his Dad got some wire and made his teddy glasses to match, which I always thought was really sweet

I don't know of a book, but I have personal experience of this, both for me and my dd.

One thing I would say is that she may well take to wearing glasses with no problems at all. for me it was a near miracle that I could suddendly see! I loved my glasses from the word go, and so did dd.

So it can be a very positive thing. And the glasses that the kids get now are ace!

Hope that it all goes well!
