Can anyone recommend one - the stairs and upstairs landing in my house are very stained and I am considering buying a machine rather than getting someone in to clean - has anyone used one and if so are they any good???

arabella I hired one for £10 a day with £25 refundable deposit if I brought it back on time.
It was from a hardware store
It was for 24 hrs and did the job brilliantly.
I also have a steam cleaner for inbetween cleaning.

I hired one too from Focus. It was about £13 for the day plus the cleaning fluid. It was brilliant. I had been thinking about getting my own before I hired one, but I shan't bother now.

thank you - I think I shall hire one too - I'm just greedy for new things for some reason but no need and a waste of money obviously...
