Mountain Buggy urban double. Seats are really wide and go pretty flat for newborns.

I'm having the same dilemma DD will be 18 mo when no 2 is born and can't decide on a double buggy. Was looking in Mothercare yesterday and they seemed so narrow even for DD who isn't that big.

I have a Mountain Buggy Terrain and DS (a very big 3 year old) sat comfortably in it the other day while convalescing.

mothercare used to do one called the atlanta twin, which was made by graco, that had wideseats. i think graco still do them, but mothercare don't they only do the urban detour three wheeler thing.

I bought a Graco tandem because of exactly the narrow seat problem. Ds is now 5 and could probably (haven't tried) still fit.

I liked it because it wasn't too expensive, was great for shopping and the back section lay completely flat and was very cosy for a newborn I even put a matress in the back.

I have still got it and if anyone is in near sw London I would happily sell if for £25

I had the nipper twin (made by instep) never thought I would have a 3 wheeler, but it was great, I loved it. The seats were really wide but you could still get through a front door,

I had the Graco side by side which was £100 new. My 20m old was quite a bit bigger than average and it was fine for him. We used it regularly until a few months ago (DS2 now 2)
