I was just watching TOTP2 and they had Boyzone on doing 'No Matter What', and it reminded me that whenever it was on my ds (now 8) would become entranced by it. Even if he was balling his eyes out, he would stop and sit perfectly still with a little smile on his face. So, I was wondering have any songs had a similar affect on your little darlings?

ds (16m) loves anything loud,punky, full of guitars. Its really funny how his head just starts nodding and he grins as soon as he hears it.
Whats the betting that in his teens he'll let us down and be into MOR crap !

My dd loved Crazy in Love too Lockets! She was just starting to make sounds when it was in the charts and she would throw her hands up in the air and go "oh oh, oh oh, oh oh".

My rendition of "Wouldn't It Be Lovely" from My Fair Lady stops Dd2 crying almost instantly 9 times out of 10.

It used to have the same effect on dd1. Has to be me singing though!
