Been waiting to see someone ranting for weeks about "mum school" and how kinder is a good treat because it is milky (not "made of milk" I notice), and clearly anything else is child cruelty

Why can't you guys get worked up when I want you too????

Is that ANGRY enough for you flamebat?????? [wink}

I was furious in Toys R us the other day- they're selling McDonalds tills and food as toys- that really made me spit feathers- these big companies will do anything to increase sales

Gobbledispook · 30/10/2005 12:17

I'm not worked up about it but did chuckle when I saw it last night adn thought 'how are they getting away with that?'!

Thankyou!!! Saw a MacDonalds advert yesterday too - just advertising basic happy meals, but they chuck in a bit at the end about exercising I'm assuming that the idea is "Oooh, MacDonalds must be good for you if they tell you to exercise".

Why would you want a specific shop till too??? I just wanted to be "a shop" as a child, not "macdonalds" or "tesco"

ad that annoys me is the one where it says this puppy they've got bouncing around is the 'honerable ancestor of the noble wolf' or something! stupid stupid stupid people.

welshboris · 30/10/2005 12:27

I hate the Mcdonalds toys too. And the adverts.

We need more apple adverts, not full of sh1t chicken nuggets ones

"Why would you want a specific shop till too???"

Perhaps it's like cars and things. Last Christmas DS1 was adamant he wanted a toy lorry - not any toy lorry it had to be a Morrison's one (thankfully Morrison had some lovely Morrisons Lorries for about £5.99 so Father Christmas granted that wish )
