Ebay have removed my listing

Bought a book from Ebay the other week, read it and decided to sell it on. Had a few other bits to sell but last night noticed said book was missing.

I then received an email from ebay saying they had removed it because it was in breach of eBay's Inappropriate Item Description policy.

Apparently it is using profanity or vulgar language

The title is The Bitch Godesses Notebook. If I relist it again I could be struck off I never knew Ebay had such high morals!

Really?
That's very touchy of them.

oh dear me. can you put it for sale on amazon instead? there's used ones on there from about £3 and up.

I'd put the title in the listing, never dreaming there would be a problem. Will try Amazon.

someone must have complained about it, I dont think ebay themselves monitor that much. Check around see if anyone else is selling the same book. The same thing happened to me once, I was trying to sell something a little bit questionable. There was one seller on there who had tons of them, but as soon as my listing went on it got removed. I think he must have been reported others to retain a monopoly on the item as there were no others around except his.

Also, contact ebay and see if they have an acceptable solution to you listing the item. Maybe use asterixes?
