Would April Fools Day be a really bad birthday?

39+1 here today. Suddenly realised that this baby could be born on Friday. (DS was early so wasn't expecting to get this far at all).

Would having a 1st April birthday be awful? Obviously, not much I can do about it!

No of course not! Lovely time of year to have a birthday.

My cousin was born on 1st April, and now it's just his birthday and there haven't been any jokes about it-and he's coming up 28

Same as Chris Evans-doesn't seem to have held him back, and there will be an atmosphere of levity at school on his/her birthday! And no one will forget the date either.

Is April fools day still such a big thing. I am not sure that even when I was young (a long time ago) that there was an atmosphere of levity at school.

OK, thanks

Familymember says just make sure that any family/siblings have it made clear that saying 'no-one likes you, you're not getting any presents for your birthday/not having a party - April Fool!' is NOT ON! Especially if they keep it up for hours.

Apart from that, not a problem.

Ha! Yes, that's exactly the kind of think I would be worried about! I wonder if any midwives ever April fool the sex of the baby?

In fact, 2nd April would probably be worse, just missing a memorable date
