Property valuations

How many agents would you get round if your house wasn't typical of the street and was classed as difficult to value?And how would you decide on a price if they varied wildly.I have had 2 50k apart!!!Shall I get a few more There are 7 agents within 100 meters of my house

i'd get 3 for normal house, and 5 for what you house sounds like

when they value, ask them to justify/explain their pricing, and particularly ask for comparisons in the area

They say there is nothing to compare it to as there is only one other right next door like ours and all the rest are victorian.Ours is built in the 70's Will get a few more then decide

they must be basing their valuation on something though?

They are basing it on modern houses on a big estate whereas we are in a residential road in catchment for v good schools
