How old was you when you had your first baby?

How old was everyone when they had their forst baby?
I was 20 years old, and even though im a 21 year old mom i still get ridiculed but young moms have been around since the beginning of time, so why is everyone so judgemental nowadays? i understand there are alot of careless too young moms, but some moms arnt! how old were you and did you get ridiculed made to feel uncomfortable because of your age or lifestyle?!

I was 29 and six days old when I had DD - average in the hospital where I gave birth.

I was 21 when i got pg with dd1, 23 with dd2, and 28 with ds! ( and still want another,lol!!)
I find there are quite a lot of older mums at the school, which i dont have much in common with as i havce a younger look on life! But do i care what they say or think anymore...NOPE!! Would've cared a few years back thou..that was the way i was!
Dont worry what they say...just got nothing better to gossip about!! xx

I was 31.
Didn't meet dh until my very late 20's.
Like others, glad I had my 20's to myself.

I thought I was old, but in fact I am pretty average around here.
once went along to a music group and though oh lordy I am ten years older than all these other mums.
turned out they were all nannies.

I think there's a lot to be said for having them young. I would have liked more and in retrospect I would have started younger.

dd at 31
ds at 34

initially i didn't want children but changed my mind at 30. at parentcraft when we had dd, everyone was in their 30's. but people don't belive me when i tell them my age because i look younger than i am. am now 35.

ds I was single and 23
dd nearly married and 32
more energy but no money/house/car/support at 22
no energy but lots of everything else at 32!

With DS I was 28.

With DD I was 30.

I was 39 when I had ds.

And if I don't miscarry (which unfortunately, I think is the case), then I would be 45 when the next one arrives.

I was 18 when I had DD and 22 when I had DS.

It seemed quite young as I was the first of my friends. All subsequent mum friends had their first children when they were in their late 2o's.
