The only way I can think of to remove it is to go to start > control panel > add/remove and then find it on the list.

What make is the old s/w rickman? Problem is, it'll have left files all over the place including the registry i expect...

My dh says if you can find it in the start menu there may be an uninstall option in the program's sub-folder. If not you will have to find out how the edit the registry (which is dangerous apparently!)

Btw this is going woooosh over my head, but it might mean something to you!

Sounds like you are not the only one! I would not recommend touching the registry unless you REALLY know what you are doing or you are looking at a reinstall.

was it RegClean? and where did you get it from? I need to clean my registry at the moment, but when I looked on the MS website, RegClean seemed to have disappeared.
