Now that my exams are over I can concentrate on setting up my childminding venture.

I want to build my own website, have got webspace but that is as far as I have got.

Where can I get step by step advice?

If you google "website templates" that's a good place to start. My friend did hers using a template and it looks very good .

Another easy way to build one is to use netscape composer (a free download with netscape navigator) It's a very easy way to start out and you can view the source code so you can gradually figure out what's going on behind the scenes.

However you want to produce it eventually it can be done on paper first so plan how you want it to look and work and then adapt to web

I used moonfruit free site maker . You do it on line, it gives you web space, you see what you are doing as you go along, lots of clip art and bits and bobs inn their own files to use like visitor counters plus you can uplaod your own pics, easy to use templates which are easy to change and completly customise. You can save it as you go along and change bits when ever you want. Heres mine {http://sweetenough.moonfruit.com/\Sweet Enough}. Still fiddling with it but its getting there .

I did a course in Dreamweaver and dabbled in HTML coding, its not worth the hassle un less you want to do web design as a business.
