boiler hell!

Help!!! Am soooooo confused. We need to buy a new boiler - how do I know which one? Do I need to get a plumber to advise, or call British Gas, or what? Being completely inept.... Any advice much appreciated.

A Corgi registered plumber should be able to help you. Ask several to come and give you quotes.

Tinker - absolutely!! That would be fantastic as we haven't got a clue really, and am worried about not knowing anyone and getting ripped off, so I'd be grateful for any recommendation you've got. We'd need someone to come along and let us know what type of boiler would be suitable, and then preferably fit it for us!
