How long does it take to do an NVQ.........

I know very boring question - and probably a really daft one - but DH and I have been chatting about it tonight. Wondering how long (realistically) it'd be before I get my NVQ when I start my new job.....

What level & what subject?

Mind you I probably don't know

Level 2 Health and Social Care

doing it "on the job" so to speak.

best to contact the college and they will help you as some take 1 or 2 yrs

I'll only be going to the college 5 or 6 times - the rest will be done at work apparently.

Level 2 is often about a year - depends on how much work you can get done.

Worth doing tho' I think (I'm struggling with my NVQ3 in childcare - mine is very paper based.)

i did a level 3 in a year, my friend did a a level 2 in the same subject at the same time.
