Heard conversation at bus stop yesterday. Old lady with a friend talking about everyone they knew when old man walks past.
"How is Annie?" shouts old lady talking about what I assume to be his wife
"She died last month" the man says looking at the floor and trying to shuffle off.
"She's DEAD" shouts old woman "What did she DIE of?"
At this point the old man manages to shuffle off looking as though he is trying to fight back the tears.
Old lady then shouts
"Oooh, I hate those conversations, make you sooo uncomfortable" - all this while old man is pretending to read timetable with tears in his eyes.
How awful Was going to say so,ething but my bus arrived. Poor old man and evil old woman
