coz was watching telly the other day, and caligula was some really really sexed up film in the seventies. had some hard porn stuff in it. also had helen mirren in it, she was caligula.

and there were a few other names i remember noting, but cant remember them right now.
so come on, please satisfy my curiousity.

for the pun value... and because I'm often to be found doing (or teaching) translation.
My previous name, berolina, is the personification of Berlin where I lived for years.

Because as a child I was mad on Tweety (Of looney tunes fame) and I love fish (did a marine biology degree cause I loved them so much!)

So it's completely made up and very rarely taken anywhere!

Sorry for mini-hijack.

I had a pretty boring name to start with just my ds's nickname followed by mum. Changed to yawningmonster because of the lack of sleep I was getting and yowlingmonster because of halloween (try growling while yawning and it comes out like a yowl)

Was having a shitty day.......

This is the halloween version of Satine which I chose because I love Moulin Rouge so much! Not very deep or meaningful, I'm afraid!

I first found Mumsnet through the conception/ ttc threads......I was sad at seeing all the so-and-sos-mum type name, you know , twins mum, katesmum etc......Well so far I only have 3 pussycats, Susie, Charlie and Boris........but im working on being a proper mum sometime soon hopefully!!!!

It is a long, involved, and oft-times dull story. Really not worth telling, and no, I don't live in Germany.

I was vickitiredmum because when i first ventured on to mn my DS wouldnt go to sleep during the day and night time took HOURS to get him off.

I eventually changed it because its no longer the case (apart from this week cos DS is teething [bored emoticon]) and also an old hand suggested it made me seem like a doormat so i asked for suggestions and someone came up with QueenVic which i thought a bit too eastend so i poshed it up a bit coz im from Norf london.
