My DD was bitten two weeks ago by mosquitos when we were staying in Amsterdam. Poor baby got bitten 17 times on her face and hands while she was asleep on the first night. We managed to stop her being bitten again but after treating them with teatree and lavender oil they had died down and you could hardly see them I thought they were healing, but last night they swelled up and now look really sore and itchy and are raised wheals.
I took her to the pharmacist yesterday ( we couldn't get a dr's appt on a saturday) and he's suggested piriton which we are now giving her. She's only 19 months and being really brave but they look so blistered and sore I was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions.
