Sorry that I was an arse discussing you finances. It was totaly out of order and I am beating myself up for my lack of tact.

I'm very sorry.

I feel your husband has one of those increadably important jobs that society doesn't value enough (raised a baptist myself).

As you said, how you spend it is your buisness. I was stupidly rushing to your defense when none was needed IYSWIM. Glad you liked the school.

No, no, no, you haven't offended me at all. I tend not to discuss finances at all on here, but mainly because most people just wouldn't believe how little we live on Let alone how we can conceive of paying private school fees (that's where my salary comes in ).

My comment about how we spend it was not directed at you.

Having said that I think English Baptists now are paid slightly more reasonably than Welsh Baptists were xx years ago. (I'm not going to guess your age!) And as we get a house to live in, OK pension, council tax paid, and a couple of other tax breaks, most of the essentials are taken care of.

Anyway, thanks again for defending me on that thread last night.

Feel free to discus my age! I deserve to be punished

Glad it is better paid....wlesh baptists did a good line in 'self denial' in the 60s and 70s

Not city trader cash tho is it?
