dd2 (6 on Tuesday) has seen a robot dog on Milkshake. We reluctantly said she could have it, but can't find it anywhere. It's not in the Argos catalogue, and didn't see it in ToysRus.

Can anyone help? H has taken the day off to find prezzies for her!

I saw one in Macro last week. I think it was about £50.

It's not much good if you don't have or don't know anyone with a card though.

hallowcarla · 14/10/2005 09:26

Nbg, what's Macro? Is it a supermarket? We've got John Lewis, Asda, Tesco a drive away from here.

And what sort of card do we need to have?????

Nbg, thank you, but has anyone else seen it?

is this it?

hallowcarla · 14/10/2005 09:32

Thank you, J&2, something like that, but not quite it.

Robopet is at ToysRUs too (same as J&BM). It's not the one I can visualise though!

hallowcarla · 14/10/2005 09:33

Soupy, it's not that one, either.

Macro is like a huge warehouse/supermarket.I think you need to have your own business to have a card.

SoupDragon · 14/10/2005 09:37

There's this one on Ebay which looks more like the one I'm imagining although the one I'm thinking of doesn't have "proper" eyes.

SoupDragon · 14/10/2005 09:38

Found a robot guineau pig here which looks quite freaky!!

Easy · 14/10/2005 09:43

Can you describe it to us at all?

hallowcarla · 14/10/2005 09:44

Thank you, God, that second piccy looks like he's a Guinea Pig no more ....

Can anyone help with the Channel 5 website? I've Googled it, to no avail.

Easy, robotic, silvery thing. Not the sort of thing you's want to cuddle, at all, but dd2 loved it. Or so she says.

five

hallowcarla · 16/10/2005 21:35

Nbg, had to get back to you to say Thank You. The lady at Channel Five - bless her - went all through the last two week's ad's. And we still couldn't find it.

Big thanks, anyway. She's got a Playmobile Noah's Ark instead!

Too late now but it's called "Tekster" although I didn't see how it was spelt! There was an advert on TV for it yesterday.
