Funnier in parts. Some of it not.

Except all of it's funnier than Oh Doctor Beeching, the direst piece of television to hit our screens ever.

Even the bits where I'm sobbing. Or asleep. Or keyboard rattling.

If you think having your two year old pushing over the entertainment centre, and breaking the TV, having your 3 year old flooding the bathroom because he wanted to wash a stick, and then pooing upstairs, on the floor, and you standing in it is funny, then yes, I suppose so.

At the moment though I still can't see the funny side, though I am sure I will. Someday.

AAG bit self-conscious, obvious vehicle for Rik Mayall IMO.

Never mind, tomorrow dh and I are off for the week-end alone, for the first time in about 6 years, leaving all the children with my (very good)friend.

I often think that I can't wait til they have their own houses, and we can go and visit, wake up at the crack of dawn and go and bounce on their bed, draw on their walls, and throw food all over, after we've complained that we can't possibly eat what they've given us.

hate the idea of bright and clever good looks in the nursing home, friendly ex relationships and teens who are nerds but nice and general all round wit and comfort
