How was your evening Georgina?

DH was on late shift again, MIL had already done 2 babysitting stints this week, so couldn't really ask her again. As it turned out I had to ask her to babysit, do you babysit an 8 and 12 year old??? Anyway, had to take J to casualty, she had what looked like nettle rash on the back of both arms, which I wasn't worried about, until it spread and covered both legs. Doc thinks it's a reaction to something she ate, just need to figure out what?

Note MIL does not = Mother in Law.

Hi Ailsa! Sorry, only just seen this. It was a fun evening - like normal we didn't actually watch much of the film and just gossiped all evening ;)

Hope J is feeling better. Did you find out what it was? Can you be asked to be referred to an allergy specialist to test for what it might be?

Am going to wait and see if if happens again, nursery are going to let me know what she eats and drinks. I don't normally bother checking on the meals as she usually eats everything, there's nothing that she doesn't like and I don't have any problems with the menu. They're also going to double check what she had to eat on Friday.

Good, although dh usually does pick up and drop off these days - so you can imagine the level of feedback I get . Apparently he's moved up to the toddler room now - so I'm guessing he gets to play with your little one now?

I'm so chuffed that this thread was started in my honour

I'm back briefly. My internet is back on, for how long, who knows, but here I am. The enforced break from MN has been good for me to be honest, I'm going to try to really limit my time on here, just because I've been able to get loads done without it and I'd like to keep it up.

House sale is going pretty well. We had a couple come to view on Weds afternoon, they liked it so much that they came back the next day (yesterday) ! They've already sold and are currently in rented so could move fast if my instincts are right and they make us an offer we can't refuse. I have a very good feeling about this one but I suspect that they'll make us sweat for a couple of days. Fingers crossed for us please everyone xx
