Something very strange happened in our house this morning. When I got up early - there was a parcel inside the front door. Someone had posted a nappy bag of dog through our letterbox - some time between about ten last night and six this morning.

This is very strange as we live in a very 'good' area and we are not the type of people to be bothersome. We keep to ourselves and now dh and I work full time - we are hardly ever here.

It is a bit worrying - we do not know if we have upset someone - unintentionally, whether it is some kind of perverse joke carried out by a teenager/kid.......or whether it is meant to be malicious....

Morning, glad I'm not the only one up and logged on so early but what a horrible thing to be greated with first thing in the morning. I'd like to hope it just a silly prank or someone being very lazy and not wanting to carry the 'parcel' home, exceptionally lazy though.
I would wait and see if anything else happens but if it does contact the Police.
Who knows what goes on in this sort of persons head so I'd get the Police involved as early as possible so to put a stop to it.
Good Luck.

I'd wait and see if it happens again. It's most likely to be a stupid joke & the person doing it just chose your hose at random.

If anything happens again, call the police.

sounds like somehing randim, make a note of it tho, if it happens again then report it.
how disgusting.

I'd do as beetroot said. really sorry to read your posting though and hopefully it's just a silly one-off.

Students most likely. We used to have problems with take-aways being delivered to our house in the middle of the night and taxis. Not nice when you have a newborn and have to explain time and time again to an irate delivery man that you have not ordered a pizza/curry at 1am. It lasted a good while and I got the police involved. It suddenly stopped a year ago. But we do have lots of students around here so I blame them, we didn't have any enemies that I knew of.

This type of thing makes me very angry though. Definitely get the police involved, if the people responsible are watching, they need to know that you will not stand for it. Also ask your neighbours if they have encountered anything similar, when I did I discovered that our next-door neighbours had been having the same problem with taxis turning up at the dead of night.

Hope you can get over it soon.

we decided to wait and see if it happens again and then we will contact the police. But it was just a crappy start to a crappy day - of you pardon the pun!!!

I think I would report it to the police anyway.
