Oh no don't say that. How old are your kids?

20, 17, 15 and 12. Sometimes really hate H[sad}. DD has new shelving things for her room, spent couple of hours hoovering shit and stuff so DH could have room to put them up. He's always arsey at w/endsSad. Bedtime comes around, spent ages finding double sheet and cover for DS1 who's now in smallest room, living back at home, having chucked DD's chinchillas out of the room. Went to get him blow up mattress so he's not on sofa (he's 6'2 and hangs off edge).

DD decides she's sleeping on sofa, 'cos there's loads of crap on her bed settee which I cleared off the floor. House is now cluttered with hanging rails, mattress etc which had come out of smallest room.

DS1 wants to watch tv (10.30pm) so asks sister if she can sleep in her own room. He very gently moves all her stuff into boxes and she's crying. DH is ranting about DS1 (long history) and DS4 is downstairs, DS2 trying to reason with all.

Blows up into huge row....I know that I'm right. All DD had to do was sleep in her own bed....DH wanted to watch tv but denied it 'cos DD was crying. He never, ever goes to bed early, certainly not at 10.30pm, usually watches TV until 2 or 3 in the morning and even when DS1 sleeps on spfs, he still does.

I'm wired now, can't sleep, DH and DD are blaming me, DS1 and DS2 have made me feel better even tho DS1 has now now gone out 'cos he's pissed off, and I'm just hoping he doesn't go out in his car.Sad

Have to get up tomorrow to wake everyone up.....shower schedule you know!! DD at 6.15am, DS2 at 6.45am, DH at 7.00pm, DS1 if he's working (long story), and DS4 whenever I can drag his steaming little body out of bed (he's 12 and just hit teen sleep).

I however have day off and am thinking I may just f'ing sleep in...Grin

Thnk On Edge for being there, it's hard to vent when you feel alone and you can't type 'cos of tears. Hope your day was OK..might try and sleep now, at least until H comes up to bed..hope it's not one of those nights when he tries it on and I'm not in the mood[sad. Really can't cope with any more stress and pressure.

So will they all piss off out of your hair tomorrow ? That will give you chance to get yourself together. Lie in and let them get sorted in the morning.

OnEdge · 31/01/2011 00:27

I have all this to come, mine are 3, 18 months and 5 months. I never realised you had the shower thing to sort out Shock

WimpleOfTheBallet · 31/01/2011 00:38

Let the buggers sort their own shower thing out! It's not fair on you! Te younget fai enough...they often need chivvying along at 12

I grew up in a family of 6 and it was hairy at times! We all had to sort ourselves out in the morning though....whoever got there first got the shower first...if you're late at 15, 16 or whatever it' your own fault.

Make them sort themselvs out more...and nobody is allowed to sleep on the sofa!

Never mind....get some rest. Bad day. Always looks worse a night.
