OK, I feel a feelgood thread coming on. What makes you ace?

I understand apostrophes.
I do pretty well at being 'green'.
I love my best friend Hausfrau with a happy and enormous love that reaches to the moon and back for ever and ever.

Not wishing to brag, but...

I can whistle quite well too.

OK, am shamelessly bumping my own thread - am determined to get a few more of you to admit to your brilliance.

I like it that I know how to accept a compliment (and believe me, when you're a good whistler who can do apostrophes, those compliments come in thick and fast).

I'm 100% loyal and faithful to my husband.
I know how to bake all different kinds of cakes.
I make sloe gin and give it out to my relatives at Christmas.

Lio · 11/10/2005 11:23

Whatever bakes your cake, expat

Bravo to all the princesses, speed-ironers, strummers, pajama-makers and rabbit-experts out there.

I can make an owl twit wooooh sound with my rolled up tongue stuck out of my mouth and have only ever met one person in my life who could make the same sound, though many can roll their tongue.

(it's a proper whistle sound BTW, not a vocalisation thrown forward... a real art...)

can't wolf whistle...

...always knew my tongue had hidden skills.

ScummyMummy · 11/10/2005 14:40

I made up an obstacle course for my sons in the park and prevented an "I am rubbish at football" wobbly. Was v proud.

p.s. anorak- did you know I'm a distant relative of yours?

flamebat · 11/10/2005 14:44

I can sleep well.

I sleep any time, any place, any how.

I find it to be a rare and understated talent.

anorak · 11/10/2005 14:50

That's what Kayleigh always says, scummy!

ScummyMummy · 11/10/2005 14:59

Kayleigh says I'm your distant relative too? That proves it then and I'm looking forward to my bottle of sloe gin very very very much!

Ooh HausOfHorrors, your dad deserves a special place on this thread anyway for that thing he can do with his keys and also the knotted thread trick.

So impressed with all this brilliance.
