I just got broadband today!

And it is fab, so much quicker. So excited, just wanted to share it with someone!!!

DD likes it too as we can spend time playing on the Cbeebies website whilst daddy is at work now.

It is fabulous isn't it? Makes the computer far more addictive though

We got adsl and my dh bought a wireless router so I can use the laptop anywhere around the house!

It's great as adsl is much quicker, but the problem is, that I lose connection now and again as the network card tries to connect to someone elses router...dam thing. The router has a 500m reception range and I'm sure other people in our neighbourhood is connected to our router for free.

Honniebunnie - we go wireless on Monday too; and 'cos the broadband we have is only available in our apartment we will be able to run two machines at once - this PC and my laptop!!! No more fighting!

I don't know much about adsl but am very interested. We've had broadband for nearly 10 months now and I think I would go mad if I ever had to dial up a connection again, it is wonderful but yes Mears very addictive.
Can you tell me who you got your adsl through and what installation is required not least what it costs????
Can you run two laptops off it at one time ???
