Anyone know a good builder in SW London

I need a wall knocking down, a wall putting up and a small extension (don't ask for much!)
Oh and a new kitchen and floor.

Can anyone personally recommend a builder who vaguely comes in on budget, whose work is of a good standard and who is nice to have around.

Tall order I know.

Many thanks

What do you mean by nice to have around???

(Tall, Muscly, nice eyes, cute smile.......)

Ooooh yes that would be perfect.

I would, however, settle for someone who is just not a total W*nker! Don't like surly, rude people or those who play v loud music in the morning (Radio 4 only in our house in the am)

Punctuality is nice though I can't really talk about that as am often late.

Hmmm - that guy from S & City who is the Vodka man would be nice - especially if he reallyhad dark hair and was not blonde - sorry will shut up now as do not know any builders who could be of 'service' to you.

Feel free, I don't mind you hijacking my thread for your own personal gratification...

I'm afraid I can't help you with the bits that need building, but I can recommend someone for the kitchen and floor. He does kitchens, bathrooms, floors, electrics, builds cupboards, basically everything that needs doing inside a house except gas. And he's very good.

He definitely meets your other requirements as well: listens to Radio 4,is polite, punctual and nice to have around. If you ask me, he meets all Boe's requirements as well (good-looking Argentinian with great smile and eyes).

In fact, he's so nice to have around that I married him. Let me know if you'd like his contact details (for work purposes, obviously ).

Yes yes yes. Handbuilt Interiors. They were fab. Our budget was way below what they usually work with, but they managed anyway, were really quick and efficient, and came back this week to sort out a problem, even though we'd paid up in full (whereas our loft company still hasn't finished, and doesn't seem to care about the remaining money).

Let me try a link : handbuilt website

Thanks Fisil will try them!

Just want to say thanks to Sari - Luis has come round and finished off lots of bits and pieces which have needed doing but just never seemed to get done. Very professional, friendly, polite and agree on the good-looking bit too!
