My 14 yr old dd has joined with a few friends of hers to raise money for a wonderful charity called Wings of Hope ( see www.thewingsofhope.org).
This Charity raises funds so that orphaned children in India and Malawi can go to School - an opportunity which would otherwise be impossible to acheive. Many of these children are orphaned due to HIV/AIDS and have little or no opportunity left for an education or to escape the cycle of poverty/disease.
This Charity sends them to Schools that could not be set up and supported without our help and support.
My dd and her friends aim to raise £6,000 and are already a third of the way there. So far they have been to the House of Commons to raise awareness and have held various fundraising events.
Please please help them acheive this target that they have pledged - even if you are only able to donate a very small amount everything will add up to make an enormous difference.
