Can anyone identify this rock?

We bought a rock at the Natural History Museum the other week and I forgot to check what it was, now DD wants to know. It looks like pyrite but is silver in colour rather than gold.

iron pyrite (iron disulphide containing nickel/colbalt).
In the crystal world it is known as the Stone of Protection.
