Following on from the Physics test thread

And no 'practical' stuff from the snogging, bj-ing girls in the back row with the love bites please!?

bj-ing??

I remember the way Van der Graaf hemispheres make your hair stand on end...

noddyholder · 04/10/2005 18:23

presbyopia from Biology lessons -- sadly relevant to me these days

aluminium ore is bauxite which is smelted in molten cryolite - why this has stuck I have no idea, but it impressed DS1 when passing the Alcan factory in the holidays!!

i remember that our physics teacher had one ear bigger than the other.

i remember the aparatus the biology teacher used to show us what cigarettes do to your lungs (i also remember him smoking half of the cigarette cos he said it was a shame to waste it)

i remember our chemistry teachers hair cut (pudding bowl job)

i hated science at school. am currently doing a biology degree tho, taught by people who actually like their subject! makes such a difference
