Just wondering about when my dd reaches 3/4 years and school finishes at 3pm what other mothers do (who are working full/part time) do. If you work part-time and a single parent and you have an outgoing expenditure of £1400, is it possible to get a part time job to cover this and still be able to collect children from school. Or perhaps there are some of you who decided to study.
It's sad, but I'm sure there are many people in similar situation, but something happened the other day (when I needed someone to collect dd from nursery)THERE WAS NO-ONE I COULD ASK. I have my sister for emergencies only (she also works).
Finally, I need to buy a computer package, what's everyone currently using (not more than £500). Obvious choices are Dell/Compaq, but wondered if anyone was happy with a non brand name.
