How long before you got back to normal???

OK, probably in wrong section but shall go on...

Had ds 14 weeks ago, had my first period after 5 and a bit weeks, then one exactly 4 weeks later, then another exactly 4 weeks after...so pretty much back to normal.

Was just wondering if peoples cycles seemed to go back to normal and then jump around a bit.. I'm hoping mine are just re-adjusting themselves as am nearly a week late which has only ever happened once, which is when i got pregnant.

Am currently slightly apprehensive that the blooming thing hasn't come yet!!! Any thoughts apart from the obvious one?

Well i thought they were back to normal so bloody hope there not. I don't think i could cope with 2 under ones!!

i had a c-section and had my first period when baba was 8 weeks old, had a coil fitted in and then it went all over the place, then it wasnt till baba was 9 months old that my period went back to normal... but yeah it sounds normal anyway so wouldnt worry about it as yet

My Ds is also 14 weeks.I bled for one day when he was about 8 weeks old and had my first AF last week,which lasted about 4 or 5 days which is fairly normal for me.

My periods have just started again and my ds will be 1 in a fortnight.

Mine came back on a regular basis even though breastfeeding. Presumably you have been taking precautions to prevent pregnancy newmumhelp?

Yes we have. But sometimes these things happen i suppose.. And its pretty scary really. Did take a test yesterday and it was negative, but i suppose its not 100 percent. I'll feel like an idiot in a few days when it comes though

I'm feeling better now though...now i know it takes a while for these things to get back to normal

i remember the first 3 periods and each period lasted for nearly 2 weeks!! !
