I don't drive either and i do the same kind of job near to you. You have experience you are a mother, these places are at present interviewing people from abroad who don't even speak English they are that desperate for staff

what do you do mykidsmum? (and where - if you don't mind me being nosey).

I am currently a SAHM but used to work in a brain injury unit in northampton and my bf ( okay i fabricated the truth but she is doing my old job) is currently finding it difficult to find staff. am considering goign back to help out but am trying to establish myself as a Doula

fabricated the truth - don't we all at one time or another.

Anyhow, must sleep, was just waiting for 3 of my ebay items to finish (I know mad timing but I did't realise how late it was the night I put them on.....had a few drinks beforehand )

2 of the 3 sold though - so I'm not complaining (nothing to write home about though - a total of £2.75 (including p&p) - and that's before paypal take their 'cut' and I've payed my ebay fees.....

But I'm doing that to make you realise you can get a job my love if you want to cat me then do i will help you with applications etc and I strongly believ from what i know of you on hre ou willbe an asset. take care but get in touch if you want am not going anywhere fast

feeling a bit better now -

when I wrote out my applcaiton form the other day, I copied and pasted everyone's (yours included) suggestions from my other thread, into a word document, and printed them out. Then used some of them to help me write it.

I'll also bear you in mind in 3/4yrs time if I ever manage to talk DH round to baby no.3 (not any time soon - need to get money in check again first - oh and get DS2 past the 'terrible two's and into nursery )

ooo - how funny - crossed post with your last post - and my bit about the doula was an 'extra' add on too LOL.

hehehe noone i 'know' is hjaving babies at the moment but seriously self belief is the best weapon you can have and lets face it you just have to care and sadly believ me not many people do anymore. let me know if i can be of help.

Thanks you two, feeling a bit brighter this morning, annoyingly woken up with a slight headache, and still have the worry of the rest of the weeks shopping for £12, but at least it's a sunny day so I won't get soaked going to Morrisons

Feeling a lot better atm (actually cr*ping myself as I've got an interview tomorrow - seee otherr thread I've just started - actually perhaps that's not the best word to use seen as though the job is for a care assistant LOL).
