Urgent alternative to royal mail?

I don't know where to post this one but does anyone have an alternative to Royal Mail that I can use tomorrow? We received a mortgage application in the post just before Christmas with a little note saying they have to receive it back by 29th as the product is now withdrawn! Anyone know how to do this when there's no post for the all the time between receipt of letter and 29th!!!!!!!

Try a private courier company.

Could you call the company and ask if thy would accept a faxed copy while the original is in the post?

I used to work for a bank and we allowed this under extreme circumstances.

SHould add, by going into a branch of said mortgage company (if they have them) they should fax it for free.

Thanks for the faxing idea - I think we'll call and suggest that we do that with originals to follow by post.

The mortgage company does not have offices where we're based (it's a small building society)

I tried the links to courier companies but most seemed to offer pick up on Wednesday for delivery Thursday which is too late.

Is it too far away to deliver personally?
