OMG that was quick.

I go away for 2 weeks and it all happens, last time I asked there was nothing in the pipeline?

Where, what sort of house, did you sell the flat???

Gosh that was quick!

How has dd settled in?

Hulababy · 06/10/2005 14:58

Hi easy. Not got e-mail up and running yet. I am landline on a borrowed laptop at moment. My computer seems not to have a working modem! Broadband hopefully will be ready for next week.

We sold the flat (again) and bought a fab 3 storey town house on the sheffield/derbyshire border. We moved on Friday and we are now pretty sorted here, and loving it! It's brand new and only just finished - they were laying the carpets when I arrived to move in, and the grass still needs to go down next week. But we are in and it's great.

I have done mollie's room and she seems very settled here already.

northerner · 06/10/2005 15:00

Great stuff. OUr new house felt like home immediatley.

jamiesam · 06/10/2005 15:00

Congratulations on the new house Hula.

Hulababy · 06/10/2005 15:01

It is just like that Northerner. TBH it's like we have always been here. Well, now my legs have stopped hurting - not used to all the stairs

Easy · 06/10/2005 15:10

From a flat to 3 storeys !!!

It'll be at Dore then, if it's on the border? is it in the catchment area you wanted?

Sorry, really nosey aren't I?

Hulababy · 06/10/2005 15:12

Further round than Dore - Lodge Moor; at the old hospital site. Lovely estate they have build now - even has a fab little playground for DD.

It is in the catchment for a good primary and secondary school. We have been to see the primary though and for all it's great reports and reputation there was just something thtat didn't feel right on that visit. And the head cam across all wrong. Think we need another visit, and to see some other schools.
