Bl*dy inland revenue and their bl*dy tax credits (again!!)

Been trying to ring them as I didn't get a renewal form and didn't realise it had to be done by tomorrow.......anyway, rang them up on their 0845 number, listened to the crap, went through the options, and then they say 'sorry we are very busy and cannot take your call' and cut me off!!!!!!!!!! Are they having a laugh or what??! I wonder how many times I'm going to get charged today for a call that ends up cutting me off? How rude!!!!!

I tried to do it online but you have to register for a pin number to get access. Someone has just told me it took 2 months for their pin to come through!!!

As well as being the cut-off date for tax credits it's also the first deadline for the tax returns, so it's ultra busy. Try ringing later on (open 8-8. Apparently peak time is 9-2.30)

We tried to do it online when I realised I had lost the form, you have to wait atleast 7 days for a pin. Dh phoned up and got through really quickly and answers a couple of questions on latest salery and confirmed details all the same. That was it. Try differet times DH phoned about midday but i guess they will be inundated now.

If you havent had a renewal form - dont panic!

My renewal form only came through the other day, and I have until 25th October to send it back.... I had called to ask why i hadnt had a form, and got told they didnt know and to just sit and wait!

I finally got through at about 9 this morning and changed my address whle i was talking to him - but he said i have to ring back tomorrow as they cant send a form til tomorrow because apparently one was sent to my old address. I'm confused?!
