I've sold a buggy on there and was pretty straight forward, they come over take the item and hand over the cash at the same time, after checking that they are happy with it of course. I felt its less open to people messing around than ebay where the buyer can come back and start making comments, paypal dispute and all that kind of thing. If you feel worried about strangers coming to your house you could meet them up in a public place or have someone @ home with you so you're not alone but i think it should be fine?
