URGENT - how do I remove nail varnish from DD with no nail varnish remover by 8.45am ?!

Help !! DD (6 and not likely to make it to 7) has found some nail varnish, goodness knows where and has just come down with it on. I need it off before school, is there anything else I can use apart from nail varnish remover ? Any suggestions gratefully received.

More nail varnish on top and then wiped off quickly (with damp cotton wool) can do it.

have you got any face toner that is alcohol based that should do it

Thank you both. The more nail varnish over the top and wiped off quickly worked and DD is now fairly likely to make it to 7 after all - we weren't even late !

Surgical/methylated spirit does the trick too
