Do you consider your time on MN to be time well spent or time wasted?

After a full night on here, my first in ages, I am going to bed thinking of what I should have spent the evening doing.

But on the other hand, I have laughed out loud several times, vented my spleen (ooh that sounds good!), learned something about Munch, and planned a night out in Leeds.

Time wasted or time well spent? Discuss!!

Yes and no. I would just have been watching the telly, only I would probably be in my bed earlier if watching the telly.

Wasted tonight lilibet. You could have been watching Bob

For me it's a bit of both.

Shock

lilibet! You take that back right now or I'll smack your bottom!

Re time issue, bit of both. Sometimes spend longer here than I should but it is tremendously addictive.I've learnt a lot, laughed a lot, argued a lot,met some dazzling people and bloody hell,it's maintained my sanity over a long and lonely year spent in a remote part of the world with no company to speak of bar my two children and (when not working) dh.

It's quality stuff.

. Tinker will declare you an heretic, lilibet!
I think on the whole I use m'net as a diversion tactic and put off doing more important (but musch more boring) things. But I tend to have peaks and troughs of usage according to how busy I am so I don't worry too much about temporary addictions any more. I know I can cut right down if I really have to so just enjoy it when I have time for a postfest.
