my ds1 had a couple on his cheek which seemed to appear after going out for a walk in cold weather. they did become fainter over the months and disappeared after a year or so.

Can you ask your HV about them?

ds1 had a few veins on his face which I got checked by my GP when I took him for something else, I mentioned it to him - I think they were called spider naevus (sp?). Sometimes they can indicate a liver problem so ds had a liver function test (blood test) but it came back fine.

If you are worried, no harm in getting it checked out. My ds's have gone now btw.

DD has these on both cheeks still at 4! should i get the HV or GP to look at them?

No harm getting them looked at. They will probably turn out to be harmless like my ds's were.
