Anyone else having trouble getting/receiving emails via BT today?

Yeah, can't access my e-mail. My dad had the same trouble last night. Don't know whats going on, although someone mentioned a virus the other day.

The Sobig virus shut down BT's business broadband service the other day - all the businesses who subscribe to it were really mad because they couldn't even get through to BT to find out anything. Maybe now it's gone across to the residential customers?

is it just BT? mine doesnt seem to be sending outgoing either and we're with ntl

lou my bt has been a nightmare - I have been trying on and off to log on for email, Outlook express is not logging on but finally managed to log on via the web just now. I was not even able to do that earlier.

Same problem here. I am with btopenworld and cant access email.It just says connecting but nothing coming through

try going from the BT openworld home page - I managed to get my email that way....

Phew it's working again! Nothing interesting waiting for me though .

Yeah it is. And my work has got the blaster worm so I can't get any mail at all. Humph.
