I wasn't sure where to post this, and I didn't want to put it in the family planning thread as in some ways it seems a bit lighthearted to put in with some of the discussion in there.
However, here we go... My husband is having a vasectomy on thursday as we now have 2 beautiful children (imho!) and have no desire for anymore. We have discussed this at length and are both very happy with our decision.
What I would like to do is commemorate or celebrate this event in some way as I feel it is the sort of ending of an era. I'm not thinking of holding a big party or anything
but would like to mark it in some way and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.
I'm stuck for anything other than either go for a meal either with or without the children by way of celebration!!
Any suggestions gratefully appreciated - I'm not interested in comments if you think this is weird or whatever though - I'd just like some helpful/creative suggestions!
Thanks
