NomDePlume · 25/09/2005 17:38

I don't like the pinky tones in Magnolia

emily05 · 25/09/2005 17:40

How funny! I don't know anyone else with a red lounge, but there are obviously loads of people on here who have one. Has it got really trendy or something?

We have white walls with one bright red wall, laminate flooring, chocolate sofas.

lyra41 · 25/09/2005 18:26

Restful magnolia walls, dark red curtains and rugs, pink sofas, wooden floors, wooden dressers and bureau.

LaScummettaMummetta · 25/09/2005 18:31

one deep red wall; one deep blue wall; two white walls; dirty beige carpet covered by cream shaggy wool rug that sheds fluff like there's no tomorrow; no curtains

Fairly deep red walls, off-white woodwork (it used to be white ), cream curtains (Argos's finest) and the skankiest carpet imaginable - greyish beige "berber", with a hole where I put a parcel of ashes down while they were still hot

Very tall dark pine bookcase.

Sofas green and white stripes (not matching).

sweetkitty · 25/09/2005 18:51

Have just moved so have inherited magnolia walls with bits painted over in odd places that are a different shade of magnolia.

Beige neutral carpet (quite nice really) navy blue chenille sofas (had cream ones never again) with cream and navy cushions, will have navy curtains, wooden blinds and light wood furniture

cath83 · 25/09/2005 19:07

Inherited beige wallpaper with leaf pattern and a blue carpet. Our sofas are terracotta and there is a tv unit and a book case and a nest of tables. None match!

lilibet · 25/09/2005 19:25

Dark red leather suite, gold carpet, and really lovely wall paper and curtians in dark red/ gold

Oak furnitre

Free style type patterned wall, hand painted and created over 2 years, courtesy of DS and the team at Crayola. We've been fairly consistent in sticking to primary colours, none of your wishy washy pastels in there, just in case you might miss them.

Furniture, fawny suede complete with smears that have also been added by DS, with plenty of help from our little friends, the 'non leak' leaky cups and the Secret Squashed Raisin Army. Hysterical chocolatey smears from mummy too . Floor is mercifully wooden, although covered in the dents and damage from multitudinous, and by the looks of it fairly fatal train/car/bus/fimble crashes that are reenacted on it daily...
Curtains - are you joking?

hermykne · 25/09/2005 19:42

blue gray farrow and ball

lunavix · 25/09/2005 20:07

HappyDaddy · 25/09/2005 20:33

Cream or "Harvest Sunshine" or some rubbish.

Janh · 25/09/2005 20:33

My deep red was called "Rose Garden". WTF?

Mojomummy · 25/09/2005 20:34

we've got caramel cream walls ( sainsburys colour) a greeny carpet (inherited with house) & M&S gold/green/beige/red chenille curtains - sounds awful - but they're not ! Also have 1 large & 1 small 2 seater sofas (removeable covers). Also have a pouffee from Ikea which is great for everything, feet, DD, magazines etc.
A few nice pictures & plants x 4 add 'interest'

We have a purple dining room too, ok wasn't in the question, but it's fab !

Mojomummy · 25/09/2005 20:34

Oops, sofas are cream

Posey · 25/09/2005 20:37

The paint is called "Egyptian Sand", a kind of creamy yellow colour. Greenish carpet and reddish/brown distressed leather suite.

Passionflower · 25/09/2005 20:57

Wedgewood Lilac, sofas are dark wine colour, floors are cherry (wood that is)Curtains are old ones inherited from my granny but will be ivory damask this winter (hopefully, must dust off the singer!)
