We have exchanged!!!!!!!!!

I am so excited.

It's finally happened. We have exchanged contracts - on both the apartment and the new house. 14 months are coming to an end at last. The apartment is sold. The new house is ours

We do the snagging on Monday at 10am.

We move in on Friday.

This time next week I will be sat in my new house.

Had to share our news!

I feel so many emotions that after all this time we are really moving.

Good luck to those sellling and hoping to miove soon. I know how horrid the whole thing is. Our process started 14 months ago and in that time we have sold this twice, and thought we had bought 4 houses. So good luck and hope all goes smoothly.

Yeah - think we are just getting BT to sort the broadband out (£25 a month), as it is the quickest to sort. Will get a better deal later when we are settled.

oooooh I exchnaged today too, moving on the third. Now in panic stations as got to pack up a 4 bedroom house!

Luckily we are only in a 2 bed apartment, with no storage so packing is manageable really. It is more knowing where to put the boxes that is our trouble!

congrats hulababy - ours took 14 months as well (complete nightmare) but I'm sitting in my new dining room typing DP is upstairs finishing off unpacking his clothes into our newly assembled bedroom furniture which makes the room smell all woody and lovely.

Also the lovely site manager has said that at the moment he can see no reason why I can't go this Wednesday - before carpets are done, etc. and paint DD's bedroom pink for her. have to confirm in the morning. That'd be fab if I can. I wouldn't tell her - let her just go and find out for herlsef when we moved in. She would be so pleased and think it had been done especially for her by magic somehow!

we are moving into rented place, so will be moviing again in 6 months.
