Does anyone's c/s scar itch when they're under the weather?

Ive started getting a burning throat tonight after a couple of weeks of sinusitis and my c/s scar is really unbearably itchy. Looking back this has happened before. Does it happen to anyone else?

not got a cs scar but my appendix scar still itches occasionaly and it was done in 1976!

ah maybe its just scar tissue then (c/s being my only one)

Not itchy but gets very uncomfortable, and sometimes feels quite painful.

Mine itches when I'm under the weather too, although I've always had trouble with bits of me itching when I'm ill - until I had my c/s it was always just the front of my throat and under my chin that itched when I was poorly.

Funny you should mention it, I was just moaning to DP about it. Mine has been driving me mental for weeks. Co-incidentally, I have had about 5 hours sleep since last Thursday. Might have something to do with it?

yes mine did for about 18 months even when i was tired.even twinged until then.

No itching, but then I am 4 yrs down the line.So there is hope for you all.

I guess it will never go. It makes me feel quite sick though. Can't stand to touch 'that' spot eeuurrghh.

I know, it's horrid. you can feel your fingers touching it, but on the other hand, you can't feel your fingers touching it. It's weird, alright.

couldn't have put it better myself!!! Only know that spot is there because of the excess flap of flesh hanging over it.

Yes, I have THE APRON too. I reckon no amount of exercise will get rid of that puppy. That's the curse of a c s though.
