for you are gloriously wonderful. Your beauty is renowned throughout the word. There is no gentler tongue than that of Suzy Wong...............

MarsLady · 22/09/2005 13:09

word and world!

bundle · 22/09/2005 13:09

how did you manage it suze? still going strong with dd2 (2 yr 5 mths) who shows no sign of stopping (just morning and/or night)

suzywong · 22/09/2005 13:13

right that's enough Mars, you're off the hook, do get up

You're still doing it bundle
well I alwasy had 2yrs in my head IYSWIM, and because we are veyr short on space and ds2 has never stayed a whole night in his cot, he is in the bed with dh while I am under ds1 in the bunk bed in the other room, so weaning is part of the overall plan to get ds2 in to ds1's room at night.

It's all a bit of a hassle but is a fantastic form of contraception

suzywong · 22/09/2005 13:15

and in answer to the question I just let dh do the bedtime routine for the past four nights, and tonight ds2 begged for me, he pleaded and bleated, I could hear him throught the door. But then dh told me he'd just banged his head and had been fine before that

bundle · 22/09/2005 13:15

that's a lovely image of you in the bunk

dd2 never demands it (never ever during day) but expects a couple of mins every night if i'm there. if i'm not she's quite happy with a bottle of cows' milk

bundle · 22/09/2005 13:16

dh does the bedtime routine a lot, so we've cracked that. and both girls tend to sleep 7.30-7.30 in their own bed/cot....but dd2 talks about "milk in mummy's tummy" (nicer than milk in bottle apparently ) and although i too had ideas around 2 yrs (ie same as dd1) it's sort of just carried on..

sansouci · 22/09/2005 13:24

hijack here -- sorry! Marsie, dh leaving for London tomorrow morning. Package will be with him. Could you cat me your postal address again in case I've lost it? Thanks!

purpleturtle · 22/09/2005 13:30

Happy Birthday!

I keep meaning to ring you, but somehow I think I would need to feel brave - which I know is stupid.

Are you busy over the school hols?

Bugsy2 · 22/09/2005 14:33

Happy Birthday all the way down under. Was the surprise party really a surprise - or did you guess?
