hi everyone, hope you all good today.

my dd is just over a year and she got a bit of money for her birthday. i am thinking of getting her a tricycle now seen as we have the money. so i am hoping for any recommendations. and do these ones with the adult handle on them, does the handle come off them.

i am thinking up to £30-40 on it , but am open to options. i am also getting her an ear thermometer which are about £30-40 and i will have about £40 of her moeny left over. what else could i get her that she might need when she a wee bit older

thanks very much

I have just bought a Little Tikes Lo Rider for my dd who will be 2 i a couple of weeks. That has a parent handle on and it also has a little storage box at the back so they can hide stuff in, like keys.
I got that from Argos and it was near to £60 but I think it says from 18 months up.

Mothercare have a nice one in atm. They do them in blue and pink, again with a parent handle and I think it also has a little bag attached to it. I think thats £40.

My DD had a Triang trike which cost my parents about £50. It has been great though and shows little sign of wear and it was used constantly by her and DS. I think John Lewis sell them too.

I bought the Braun ear thermometer in Boots £29 I think - DS had endless high temps - you won't regret buying one of those!

We just got a great new trike for DD. Its a pooh bear trike, with a parent handle and a canopy. Its made by Huffy. Everyone keeps asking us where we got it. Its fab!

Ok the canopy bit might be considered a bit excessive - but DD adores it. We got it becasue the handle isn't just a rod with a bit of rubber grip on it, but its a proper stroler handle (we live on a steep hill so were a bit worried about loosing grip of the bar) They do a barbie version too but it was a bit too pink for us. We got it from Toys R Us online. We bought it from the States so it cost less (about £30) not sure how much it is here.
