We've just had the series "Jamie's Kitchen" here (Oz) which I actually enjoyed.. it was quite riveting watching him trying to deal with all the c**p on a daily basis.

Just wondering if anyone knows how his restaurant is doing now, whether it's been a success or not? I think we're supposed to get a second series about it somewhere along the line.

We've actually got 'Jamie Oliver overload' here at the moment... his cooking show is on one channel 5 nights a week, another channel shows it once a week, and the series about his restaurant just finished last night. Do you hear much of him in the UK? (Not that I have a crush on him or anything.... just interested....)

Yes, huge success, critics love it on the whole and you can't get a table unless you wait a couple of months or something. I missed this series first time round here but it's just being repeated so I saw a bit last night and thought ah, bless him.

Holly02 ... he is popular here in NZ too ... the kiwis love him ... am constantly seeing his face on the back of buses advertising 'Pam's' products!!

I love Jamie's Kitchen - didn't see it first time round but I'm hooked this time. I am having dinner at Fifteen next week with a client and after watching the show I'm really excited about going. I'm kind of hoping to see some familiar faces in the kitchen. Michael Pizzey - little b*gger but Aaaah Bless!

wow Mamajinks, let us know what it's like & how the food is. Wonder if you'll see the Man Himself... although I doubt it, considering how consistently busy he seems to be with his promotional tours, etc. I wonder if his poor wife & 2 babies ever get to see him!

I do think he seems very mature for the ripe old age of 27 though.

Look in this week's HEAT for update on Jamie's plans for this year. No books or TV, just wife and kids...

I like him too, even if some of his receipes are a bit vague 'handful of basil' etc, is that my hand or dh (gorrilla size).
